The Abilene Baseball Club invites the public to show support for the Abilene High School Baseball team with a “State Send-Off.” The event will be this Thursday, May 26th. The public should be in place around 1:00pm, which is when the team plans on leaving the Abilene High School parking lot. The Abilene Police Department has graciously agreed to escort our Cowboys out of town. Please stand along Buckeye Avenue from the area near O’Reilly Auto Parts and Pizza Hut on northward between the access road and Buckeye Avenue. The public is encouraged to wear orange and brown (or jerseys), make signs, cheer loud, and come out to support our hometown boys making their first ever appearance to the high school State Tournament!
