It is with a heavy heart today that we notify you of the loss of a member of the Wamego Police Department. Sarah Salinas, Dispatcher for WPD was involved in a motor vehicle crash at approximately 2300 last night, and tragically lost her life. Sarah has been a dedicated dispatcher for Wamego PD for 10 years. Please keep her family and members of the Wamego Police Department in your prayers at this time.
