Unemployment Rate

Preliminary estimates reported by the Labor Market Information Services division of the Kansas Department of Labor and the Bureau of Labor Statistics show a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 2.9% in March. This is unchanged from 2.9% in February and an increase from 2.4% in March 2022. Dickinson County stands at 3.4 percent. Salina County 2.8, Geary County 4.3 percent, Clay County 2.9 and Riley County 2.9.
