
A Kansas vocal teacher was arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual relations with a student.
Kevin Johnson, 53, of Concordia, has been charged with engaging in unlawful sexual relations, which is a level five personal felony, the Cloud County Attorney’s Office said.
Johnson was arrested on Monday on suspicion of engaging in sexual relations while he was a teacher or person in a position of authority.
Johnson is listed as a middle and high school vocal music teacher on the Concordia public schools’ website. Johnson had previously been suspended by the school district, the attorney’s office said.Johnson had taught 7th and 8th grade vocal music in the USD 435 School District in the early 1990’s
