Blue Jeans Day

John AndersonMarch 3, 2023

Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) wore blue jeans at work for another “Jeans Day” fundraiser on Fridays throughout the month of February. Employees make a donation, of at least $5, and are allowed to wear blue jeans at work. A total donation of $675 was presented to Abilene High School students Scarlett Randolph and Jacobi Robinson. The students will be performing as part of the 2023 Honor Choir USA in Hawaii this summer. The money raised will be split between the two students to help pay registration fees due this month (March). The monthly Jeans Day fundraiser is organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee. Pictured from left are: Robinson, Pam Schoemaker, MHS EOC committee member; and Randolph.
