According to a Media release by the Abilene Polic department on Thursday April 18 the Abilene Police Department received an alert from a Flock license plate reader that a vehicle associated with an abducted five-month-old child from Minnesota was in Abilene. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and occupants in the 2100 block of North Buckeye Avenue. Officers discovered that the child had been taken from Minnesota by a non-custodial parent. The five-month-old child was taken into Police custody without incident and arrangements are being made to for its safe return to Minnesota.
