The Kansas State Fire Marshal says 17-year-old Elizabeth Lillian Ohl died in a house fire in Solomon. According to the fire marshal, Dickinson County deputies tried to enter the burning home through a door and a window but were stopped by intense heat and heavy smoke. Deputies were able to assist a man in escaping through a window. The investigation also found that two other adults and a child escaped from the home safely. The cause of the fire has not been determined, but officials have identified several possible sources.
