Dawn Hammatt, director of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum, was appointed as the new director of the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in College Station, Texas, effective Dec. 31. Hammatt has been director of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum since May 2017. Rather than packing up and leaving all at once, Hammatt will ease into the transition working at both sites for a while. until a new director is selected.
