The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame announces 2023 class and among the class is an Abilene native. Kansas State baseball player and 13-year MLB veteran Ted Power, from Abilene. The induction ceremony will be held on Sunday, Oct. 1 at the Kansas Star Casino. The 12-member class raises the number of Kansas Sports Hall of Fame inductees to 329. The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame is located at the Wichita Boathouse.
